Women's Wellness for Body and Mind In-Person

REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Limited spots. Please register for each individual session you plan to attend.

Please be advised the library is NOT open on Sundays for regular library business and will only be open for the Women's Wellness program. Doors will open specifically for this program 10 minutes prior to the start of the program and close promptly for the program start.

Ignite your inner goddess with this all-encompassing approach to wellness for the feminine body and mind. Each session combines elements of yoga, dance, strength training, and meditation, and self-kindness.

Every week we will begin with some simple affirmations and a warm up, followed by dance instruction inspired by middle eastern dance fusion. We will then move on to simple strength training. Our final movements will involve improving flexibility using yoga poses and traditional stretches, and then we end our practice with a 7-10 minute meditation. Every 4-6 weeks will be a new routine.

Please let us know if you are sensitive to any essential oils prior to coming!

Participants should bring a yoga mat and a towel (or band). Sneakers, dance shoes, or yoga slippers are recommended. Please let us know if you need to borrow a mat. We have a limited supply of back-up mats.
